I seen something about the locking fuel cap being found hid somewhere, has anyone found there’s and where’s best to look.
How does the yellow mis fuel thing come out the filler neck?
Thanks.

Re: Locking fuel cap ex bt van
Found mine today hidden behind the carpet in the footwell behind the passenger seat, the lock works off my ignition key so I'd like to find out how to remove the yellow filler and get this in place.

that rubber leash holding it on just clips off. look at it once you unscrew it and its pretty obvious how you get it off

Yep, my locking one was found underneath the passenger seat too... much easier to use than the yellow one.

That rubber leash moulded to the fuel filler cap will eventually break. They are a crap design on VW vehicles.
