From factory the aerials are in the mirror housing on facelift models and built into the screens on older Caddys so they are probably BG things.

It’s a 2011 so should be in the mirrors then. rubbish signal anyway so looking into what else I can put on, Shark fin maybe.
What do you think is best to blank them off with once I take them out?
Thanks

I'd guess a rubber grommet with some sealant around it to stop any leaks. It's either that or a big welding/painting job.

Hmm. I will have a look into it when I take the headlining out. Might look into flat headed nut and bolt with rubber washers, must be something out there that looks nice, addinised or or something.

This is what it looks like from the inside, wiring go’s to the front but o haven’t got any trim out the front yet. Anyone with a British Gas maxi have these and know how they come out? Or even what they are.
Thanks.

Is the tracker something I could have access to ? If not I will take it all out.

Re: Is this my Ariel ?
I cut all the connections off mine and pulled out all the wiring from them, they route to under the dash where you will probably find the wires have already been disconnected and one to the rear from where the laptop dock was in the rear racking. they come off very easy, there is a little allen key screw on the aerial on the roof side, the longer part of the aerial comes off and then you can unscrew the base of it. the hole was about 9mm if i remember so you will need to get some rubber grommets to fill the holes. i just haven't got round to doing it. i 'm hoping when i put roof rails on i can use the screws and seals from these holes in those ones.Ricksy1121 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 3:25 pm This is what it looks like from the inside, wiring go’s to the front but o haven’t got any trim out the front yet. Re: Is this my Ariel ?
Iv got some rubber washers and was going to use a flat head but and bolt but you make a good point with the bolt from the roof rails, I’m doing the same in removing them when I fit the roof rails.
Thanks.
Thanks.

No prob, let me know if that works for you, I'm in no immediate rush to buy the roof rails yet so will be handy to know if it worksRicksy1121 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 8:34 pm Iv got some rubber washers and was going to use a flat head but and bolt but you make a good point with the bolt from the roof rails, I’m doing the same in removing them when I fit the roof rails.

Quick change of subject but do your headlights come on full when at the Off/DRL position?

The head lights do come on when in the off possition but never looked into how much, just always thought they where running lights of some kind, only had the van a few months.
