How do you solve the problem of side door catching wheels

Smaller wheels maybe?

Someone on here cut the bottom of the inner door panel off and narrowed it and welded it back back on but I can't remember who, it was on a build thread. But narrower wheels seems to be the sensible option

just cut the van in half front to back. weld in strip of metal and voila! now your van is wide enough for the wheels you have chosen. doing it this way means you can make the van as wide as you want it. do it big and get some wheels off a tractor. guaranteed you will have a van like no other!! You can get a wedge for the vw T4 maybe you can get one for the caddy too? or mod the T4 one?
