Hi all, just fitting my alloys and they appear to stick out a few mm from the arches...
Just checking it’s ok??

Wheel clearance?
ET of you wheels is probably too low like 35?
ET42 - ET48 is best for under a Caddy.
Normal ride height Will give no trouble but do not lowered it on these wheels.

Re: Wheel clearance?
the rim of the wheel is "allowed" to poke past the arch by 10mm, however the tread should always be under the wheel arch, hence poke and stretch tyres getting through mot's. however, just because something gets through an mot doesn't mean its necessarily legal

The ET of these wheels is 41. The previous owner had them on a caddy so I thought they would be ok.

Re: Wheel clearance?
If your riding hi as you currently are. Don’t stress leave them on until you find your dream set or your going to lower it. If there are in good nic your get money back selling them. Chill it’s all good your have more learning. It’s frustrating trust me i know I have done lots of learning that’s cost me. But your alloys your sell easy you never no might make a little profit.

Wheel clearance?
In The Netherlands its the flat surface for example 235 have to stay in the arches, but the cheek may stick out 30mm wheel they do not mention. When i had 10J rears it came out total 30mm wheel and 25mm streched 245 tire.

Re: Wheel clearance?
Cheers for the help guys, knew I could rely on this forum for help. Decided to take them off and see what happens when I sell them. Can is still standard so doesn’t look silly back on the original wheels.
