Post by Warrene »

I have a VW caddy 1.9 TDI with no engine cover. Can someone advise which model I need as it shows there a plastic pimples which a cover fits into. A picture would help if possible. Where would I buy one from?
Thank you .

I poked around on ebay until I found one second hand from a scrap yard dealer. I'm in N.Ireland and so was he and he posted it to me by royal mail so if you are in GB it wouldnt cost any extra. It was Traynors I got mine from....https://www.traynors.co.uk/
I just rang them and gave them my model and asked if they had a cover to fit.
Ps if you have the fitting spuds dont pay extra for a se.

But I guess any scrapper like them would do.

Hope that helps.

Sorry to highjack the post, I have a 2.0lt 102 2016 caddy and I was hoping to fit an engine cover, does anyone know the part number and the part numbers for the two extra ball joint things that slip into the grommets on the front of the cover. Also looking to fit the under tray if anyone could help I would be mega grateful. The VW dealer told me that it can not be done🤪
Looks the same engine as a golf etc to me.
Cheers Gee

Yes first is the Engine cover followed by the rubber sleeve for the oil filler neck and the last is the two lugs you will need for the front of the engine. The rears are fitted as standard. Image

Can you please put your for sale items in the correct forum rather than mention it in threads in chat and other sections.
