Bentley 19x9j wheels
I have seen a set for sale locally With 225/35 or 215/35 tyres on (the seller isn’t sure but will check). Am I likely to have issues in my van or is it a no hassle fit? Seen vans online with them on but don’t want to have to mod anything to get them to fit. My van is lowered on pro sport Coilovers.
Was looking for 18x8j et45, the likes of Bola B10 or B12 but haven’t found any 2nd hand yet.
Thanks
Edit. Pic of the van to give an idea on how it sits at on it’s standard wheels

Re: Bentley 19x9j wheels
You should be ok with 9j rims, if they have a good offset, 45 of similar
I tried 10j a while ago with some rota grids... that didn't work out too well bot bola B1's on there way 18" with 45 offset 8.5j

They are et41 by the looks of the spec.
The Bola wheels are nice but haven’t seen many up for sale and can’t decide on the ones I want lol

Re: Bentley 19x9j wheels
I think you'll have rubbing issues on the front with those spec wheels. And possibly sliding door issues too. My old wheels were 19x8.5 et42 with 235/35 tyres and they scraped on the inner edge of the front wings. Plus my side door only just opened and that was after removing the ply lining from the door.
You'll definitely rub holes in the rear arch liners too.

Re: Bentley 19x9j wheels
I have Bentleys.
215-35-19 9J ET43’s Front.
215-35-19 9J ET41’s Rear.
I’ve tried them on the van but it isn’t lowered yet. All seems fine and clears the side door but only just.

Pretty sure you'd have some rubbing issues if it was lowered.

Re: Bentley 19x9j wheels
Thanks for this, gives me a good idea on what others have experienced. My rear liners have holes in them from the previous owners wheels by the looks of it but I don't want side door opening issues or need to roll/trim the front arches, so think I'll continue the hunt for smaller and narrower wheels. Shame as the Bentleys looks goodBarbel330 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 10:04 pm I think you'll have rubbing issues on the front with those spec wheels. And possibly sliding door issues too. I also read somewhere that the rear axle on the 2.0 is slightly wider - not sure if that is true or not as it seems odd it would be but that may cause me more issues
Cheers

Cabbs, I didn't know you got different offsets on the Bentley's, maybe I need to look for other styles with higher offsets. They look really nice, hope that they work for you when you lower it.
Cheers

Re: Bentley 19x9j wheels
Thanks for clarifying that Doc. Seemed odd to me as I couldn't see why but good to know especially as I am back on the hunt for wheels. Glad I didn't buy the Bentleys at ET41 then

Hoping the front coil overs come soon so I can test them. I’ve tried them on the rears and put the van on the ramp and it looks pretty clear from what I can see. Not sure about the fronts.

Me too but they apparently do my wheels in ET41 and ET43.
My wheels came off a 2013 caddy which he says he didn’t have any rubbing issues. I guess time will tell.

Indeed, and if the rear arch liners melt and you have to stop and it gets fast with water cooled it can form even very dangerous Sharp forms which can cut the tyre... isn’t funny at all.Barbel330 wrote:You'll definitely rub holes in the rear arch liners too.

Had these on 8,5J and Thats already really stretched. Speeding isn’t a good idea, one blew up at the motorway to an event last year whoooops.Barbel330 wrote:Pretty sure you'd have some rubbing issues if it was lowered.
