Hi all newish member, not really posted much. just getting hang of the forum
Last year i decided to splash out and swapped my 2011 seat Leon FR in for an brand spanking new caddy black edition from VW van centre Preston, Lancashire who I would recommend for there service.
I’ve been after a caddy for about 6 yrs and was never sure if I could give up my car but I finally got sick off squeezing fishing gear and mtb into the car and destroying the headlining and seats
Anyway here’s some photos
I decided to make a few changes
I removed the bulk head for some extra legroom,
Insulated and fitted a ply kit and carpeted, first attempt at doing anything like this.
I the wired in and aux fuse box behind the passenger seat and added some led roof lights and some powerful led spotlights to the rear for cleaning off the bike/ loading up the fishing gear at night. This was not a problem as I’m a HGV/Plant mechanic by trade.
I then fabricated some detachable and interchangeable bike mounts to the floor so I can get 4 bikes in and some heavy duty floor lining.
Let me know what you think and hopefully this post and pics will be successful!
Next mods on the list
Seats s3 or golf gti grey tartan ?
Coilovers ?
Alloys 19’s
Golf mk6 centre console and armrest? (I think this will fit the mk4 caddy) ???
Get the A and B pillars and overhead storage sprayed black and roof lining trimmed black
Any suggestions or ideas on the next mods would be much appreciated.
Cheers Dan

Thanks, 2.0 TDI 102ps, forgot to mention a remap is also on the list of things to do, it’s a little underpowered especially coming from a 200bhp Leon.Caddy bridge wrote:Very nice, what engines in it?
