Hi there, new to forum having bought a caddy at the weekend coming from a t4
It’s a 2010 1.9 caddy with Touran facelift
Wonder if anyone could offer advice or have any ideas.when indicating left the engine light flashes with indicator, when indication right the power steering light flashes with indicator alongside the normal indicator arrows........How strange
I don’t think they are actual warnings as they stay off when not indicating . Anybody possibly shed some light?
Incorrect wiring something?
Many thanks
Any advice?

Re: Any advice?
Hi, welcome to the forum.
It sounds like your instrument cluster might have some problems, the majority of signals to the instrument cluster are via CAN communication so the stray lights are not wiring related.

Honestly, unless you have factory highline it's not worth the effort of repairing, the testing alone can be £200 and for that you can have a used highline cluster fitted and coded. Money saving and upgrades in one.

Turns out it’s an intermittent thing. Comes and goes . Weird!
