Suspension Setup
As a new owner I’m looking for the right suspension setup, there’s that many too choose from it would be good to see examples of what people here are using. This could be a good guide for anyone else in my position too.
Show us a picture of your Caddy and discription of what setup your running, Coilovers/Shocks/Springs/ Make/ Lowered By etc..
Mine = Standard DUB setup
Cheers

Re: Suspension Setup
KW V2 coilovers lowered about 60mm with all bushes changed to Powerflex purple. Damping is as comfortable as standard suspension but corners like a dream and much improved steering response. Highly recommended.

Re: Suspension Setup
Ive bought a 2016 Caddy Highline with quite a few extra fitted from factory. the suspension is one of those items. On the original Vehicle Order Form under Factory options it lists Lowered suspension £180.00 under Accessories ans Option Products it lists Lowering Springs £516.00.
The stance on the Caddy looks real nice but Im not happy with the slightly harsh ride especially on crappy London roads. In the rear it looks like single leaf spring. I have contacted my local dealer sales/service department with to ask about current setup I have and what I would need to do to return to stock suspension but have no real answers.
Id appreciate if anyone can shed some light on the on the suspension set up I currently have and whats best approach to improve the ride. I am running on 17" Rockhamton Alloys.
Thanks

Re: Suspension Setup
The front suspension feels compliant and not to bad. the rear over speed bumps just seems to bottom out. This is without any load. Id hate to think what it would be like with a full load.
Thanks

Re: Suspension Setup
Judging by that photo, it's bottoming out on the bump stops as they appear to be standard length. Cut a section or 2 off them and it will give more travel before bottoming out.

Re: Suspension Setup
Really, excellent stuff! sounds like an easy fix.
Do I just go at it with an hacksaw?
