Coin tray removal mk4?

Has anyone managed to remove the tray beside the usb and 12v socket on the mk4 caddy ? looking to remove it to fit a wireless charging pad under it

It flicks out from the back mate. I used a trim removal tool but you could do it with an old bank card to save marking it etc

ah makes sense cos it seemed to be caught firmly on tabs at the front

gonna have to go get a trim removal tool or a hook or something cant get it up

Have a look at my build thread - I’ve already done the wireless charging and there’s a photo of the back of the coin tray so you can see where the lugs are, plus a part number for the rubber mat.

It pulls up from the front (furthest away from you) end of the van, you’ll need a trim tool, and depending on which wireless charging unit you have, you’ll also need to file the tray down a bit.
