Has anyone fitted a completed touran loom into a caddy
Basically caddy was fully stripped
Bought a donor touran and fitted everything from a touran
Just getting to wiring up the sliding door and rear doors and rear lights
Has anyone done this or could help with the pin outs please
As touran had rear doors and electric windows and so on caddy just needs central locking and the interior light switch
Thanks for any help

Re: Touran loom into a caddy
There are sooo many variables, this subject is a bottomless hole.
What generation Touran are you using as a doner?
What generation Caddy are you building?
SWB or maxi, twin door or tailgate?
Single or double sliding door?
Your best option is to get a copy of ELSAwin and compare the wiring diagrams for rear/side doors and tail lights as these are all different. The fuel pump is in a different location so those wires will need diverting. A-pillar forward is probably about all that is the same between the two.

Re: Touran loom into a caddy
Ok thanks i did have elswin but stopped working said it was an unlicensed version got like 8 cds from a ebay seller stitched up
Touran is a 2008-2009 version
Caddy is a standard swb
Caddys all up and running just literally trying get sliding door centrol locking and rear door central locking and rear lights. Working other than that all is
Working
Doesn’t help there was no wiring in the caddy

Re: Touran loom into a caddy
I have done this with a 2008 caddy, transplanted a 2.016v Tdi with the main Touran loom, climate control the lot.
I had issues with the rear side doors and rear door, on a barn door style van.
I reverted to the caddy central locking ecu and used the wiring from the original caddy loom to go where it used to go, so basically changed the Touran wiring going to the ecu to make it how the caddy was for that ecu.
And I just connected the caddy light loom to the Touran one behind the passenger seat area along with the abs wiring.
