Re: pendle performance remaps
i assume its a 1.6 tdi version you have
that being the case they are just a detuned 102bhp engine and there is no issues seeing figures over 143bhp from them
planning on getting mine done soon as its a bit gutless for overtaking

Re: pendle performance remaps
Been running a Pendel map for over 5 years with no problems. Recently put van back on the rollers just for a tune up and no issues were found.sheepy92 wrote:got a 75ps one atm dog slow i know does anyone have any experience on these remaps or would recomend them they state around the 160bhp mark and is this safe or am i just going to blow the van up lol ?

Re: pendle performance remaps
I just spoke to Pendle Performance yesterday for a tune on my 2016 2.0Tdi 102 and was told its the exact same engine as the 2.0 tdi 150 and can be tuned to achieve around 180-190bhp and 320torque.
It deffo on the to do list.

Re: pendle performance remaps
Nearly 80% increase in power. Just sounds to good to be true!
What sort of power are people with tuned 2.0Tdi running? any reliability issues?

Re: pendle performance remaps
where did you have yours tuned? any issues since tuning? is it all or nothing or gradual power through the rev range?VinylJunkie wrote: ↑Sun May 27, 2018 12:55 pm I’ve got 2.0 bkd tuned to 180 bhp and 380 tourque, it’s quick

Re: pendle performance remaps
Had mine done at moorfield motors in Leeds, it’s not a Pendle tune tho it’s by apr, moorfield were a Pendle agent but Pendle wouldn’t let them do tunes by other companies. No issues at all reliability, power all the way up the revs, just keeps pulling with all the torque. Shocks a few people.J1220 wrote: where did you have yours tuned? any issues since tuning? is it all or nothing or gradual power through the rev range?

Re: pendle performance remaps
Pendle delivered exactly what they promised complete with a nice certificate with before and after dyno printouts.
Transformed a gutless 7 seat 2.0tdi maxi 4 motion which was awful trying to overtake, to something with just shy of 170hp and overtakes are now a breeze. Nearly 4 years on it still runs perfectly and pulls like a train. The only downside the fuel consumption went up about 8% overall but that was more than offset by owning a Caddy which is so much nicer to drive. Worth stressing that even after the map, the engine is still running inside the actual VAG design envelope for those engines as there are Skoda versions leaving the factory with basically similar engines routinely tuned to deliver 170hp on their Superb estate.
Don't forget to mention the forum to Martin at Pendle HQ as he offers a discount to Caddy2K members.

Re: pendle performance remaps
loving the gains well done for getting it done.
I'm thinking of getting this remap, my caddy is still under warranty for another 1 year, should I wait or take the plunge and get the re-map?

Re: pendle performance remaps
Take the plunge and do It, had mine done at 6 months old 2016 2.0tdi 102bhp 5sp now running at 180bhp, not a single issue and I have about 50,000km on it now.
