If anyone is interested in the Golf alloy/metal pedals there is an alternative. I have done this mod myself and can confirm they are a perfect fit. The alloy/metal pedals that I have fitted to my Caddy are for a Skoda Yeti and are available for a decent price. Seen a brand new set for a manual Yeti on ebay for £68.00 delivered.
Part numbers are 5L1064200 for a manual rhd Yeti. This is the full kit/lot of pedals which includes a complete electronic accelerator pedal which I can confirm fits perfectly and works fine, so no swapping over of the accelerator pedal cap required.
Part number 5L1064205 for a automatic rhd Yeti.
Alloy/metal pedals.
