Under trays

Post by Celticrsmith »

I’m after an under tray as nothing more wretching than hearing stones, pot holes and general road debris (usually roadkill!) slamming off the underside of the caddy!

So, I understand that the part number is 1K0 825 237 K however, I’d guess tourans fit and also possibly a mk5 golf? Just looking to broaden my search horizons....

Thanks

It’s s good mod, well worth doing along with the engine cover. It’s dampens the noise a little.

Yes you can get an engine cover for a SDI. Second hand for about £20.00 - £30.00 depending on condition.

Yes I think the MK 5 Golf SDI use the same cover. What is your engine code and I will make sure you get the right one.

Owners service manual/handbook at the front, sticker on cambelt cover or sometimes on the sticker attached to the drivers door pillar just below the catch.

Hi Basil,
Go to page 7 and find the topic on engine covers. All the part numbers required for your CAYD type engine are listed a bit further down that page by a post reply by bluecaddymaxi.
As regarding the under tray/noise insulation the part number is 1K0 825 237 AG. The last two letters could also end in AE or AC but will fit the same.
