Re: Rear Windows Blackout
I would think you would need to scratch the glass to buggery in order for the paint to stick. By doing that your damage your rear heated window. I sure people will have but it would look will strange and I dont think it would take long to damage it.

Fair enough just looking at a few different options instead of getting it tinted that’s all

Or as the previous owner of my van has done why not just black vinyl wrap the windows on the oursite.

Re: Rear Windows Blackout
I have spray painted mine which was original factory blacked out, but had a few chips, after I insulated they spray glue reacted with it, so I peeled the OEM stuff off, and just used regular gloss black spray paint, key is to build up thin layers so it don’t run, but from the outside you can’t see the runs anyway looks OEM again now

Re: Rear Windows Blackout
Soooo decided on just the spray job. Seems pretty tough had about 6 or 7 coats and it’s quite durable

Re: Rear Windows Blackout
Doesn’t look too bad actually. Didn’t take any photos of it cause van is a bit dirty on the outside but it just looks like it’s blacked out. Might spray the outside while I’ve got the hang of spraying
