A random thought and just wondering if anyone has considered spray paint there rear windows?

I would think you would need to scratch the glass to buggery in order for the paint to stick. By doing that your damage your rear heated window. I sure people will have but it would look will strange and I dont think it would take long to damage it.

how about some plasti dip doesnt need to be sanded etc to get grip and can be removed if it doesnt look right

Or as the previous owner of my van has done why not just black vinyl wrap the windows on the oursite.

Thanks guys. Think I’m going to go for the plasti wrap stuff. That’s one decision made haha next onto seats and mfsw haha

I have spray painted mine which was original factory blacked out, but had a few chips, after I insulated they spray glue reacted with it, so I peeled the OEM stuff off, and just used regular gloss black spray paint, key is to build up thin layers so it don’t run, but from the outside you can’t see the runs anyway looks OEM again now

Soooo decided on just the spray job. Seems pretty tough had about 6 or 7 coats and it’s quite durable

Doesn’t look too bad actually. Didn’t take any photos of it cause van is a bit dirty on the outside but it just looks like it’s blacked out. Might spray the outside while I’ve got the hang of spraying
