has anyone thought about or even went ahead and carpeted over the rubber footwells in the front? or even better have any pictures of ones that have been done!

i know theres the option to buy original carpets for the front but i seem to be flinging money at this thing just now a thought there was maybe a cheaper option.

cheers

You could but:

The rubber floor is all 1 bit so you might find it a struggle, and if you use 4 way stretch it won’t take long and it will be fluffy and won’t look great. New vw carpets are around £80 each side. Or you could look at used Touran ones.

This is also something I have thought about doing, my current rubber floor is gross and starting to perish in some areas.

I've not had much luck looking online for a carpet replacement, only floor mats.

Does a touran carpet fit straight in?

Your have to take the seat and bases out, maybe central console. Whilst doing it. You could put in a arm rest.

£150. They crazy. New ones are £80 each side. Get on eBay. Look up Touran salvage and message everyone. Someone will get back with a sensible price.
