Hi guys
My names Shaun and I’m 20, a newbie on here and in the caddy world. I’m from Thirsk in North Yorkshire and decided to buy a caddy a few months ago, after getting bored of my first car.
I’ve started adding a few little bits to it like side bars, spoiler etc but now I’m wanting to lower my van, get it remapped and also have a radio upgrade.
If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Shaun

Hi Shaun, welcome to the forum.
Remaps have been discussed quite a bit, these 1.6TDIs go well after a tune up.
Lowering also has had lots of discussion, you need to decide how low you want to go and your budget before deciding which route to take.
Regards stereos, there are lots of original equipment stereos you can fit to have full integration with instrument cluster and multi function steering wheel or you can go down the aftermarket route with some mega expensive but feature filled units available from Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine etc.

Thanks for your help. I’ve read on here about different options available to me and I was originally thinking of using eibach springs to lower it, but wasn’t sure if I’d want it sitting a little lower. I heard pendle performance remaps were highly thought of but wasn’t sure about the stereo option so thanksDoc wrote:Hi Shaun, welcome to the forum.
