Is for the other plugs. Big red and brown wire are T30 and T31

The grey plug is CAN high and low.

The beige plug is speakers.

I bought the adapter from the link you sent. Did you have to swap the red and yellow wires about?

Also do I leave both canbus boxes connected?

Probably very basic questions I apologise for my numptyness!

The top slot for this connection has the cam wiring red, black and white wires but the new harness didn't come with a connector for those can I buy that some where?

That ISO looks like the first overhaul of the ISO connector when they added the C and D plugs. Is that for connections to the aftermarket unit.

I’ve not installed any of these aftermarket head units yet, so from your pictures it’s hard to decipher what’s what.

Which if fine it doesn't have the blue or green connector that I was asking about earlier.

So that plugs into one of the harnesses sent with the am unit

Is quad lock to ISO correct for this? My aftermarket HU has quad lock, so the adapter the shop made up was quad lock <-> quad lock, but with the pin outs mapped for mk3 / mk4 fit.

No idea. But somehow the sparky managed to make it all work. I now have a fully functional stereo and front/rear cameras all tucked and secured. This was definitely not the plug and play they advertised. Although it probably would have been if it was a mk3!

But that's one thing off the check list...

Good news, glad it all works, let us know if you need help swapping the door open warnings over and/or anything else.
