Adie66 ahh yeh true that could be a reason may be a slight bit of difference in the how it used to be. I’m sure you’ll figure it out you managed the conversion without any help lol.

Yeh there a right pain I’ve put my op off twice now as I run my own business and don’t want to be off work.

I forgot to ask you what size is the bayonet connector you’ve put in the turbo boost pipe you made direct from the turbo if you get what I mean

Adie66 I sort of had a feeling with the smoke it would either be injectors or turbo but your turbo is new so maybe the injectors could do with a clean, it’s very strange it can almost be soul destroying knowing you’ve done everything the right way but yet something has popped up to challenge you lol.

They may just need a clean or new seal kit for the injectors?
Very easy to remove, biggest problem is that you have to replace rocker bolts and injectors bolts as the are stretch and heads up not cheap to replace from Vw .
I have been told that you can reuse them but don't carry out the extra 90 or 45 turn to stretch on torquing.
Darkside sell a full set non stretch for about £45
If the injector or injectors shot I have a full set that I removed from my asz because I am running bls ones.
