I don't have the R bumper, mine is a smoothed caddy with splitter.

You need a golf r or gti bumper and caddy.
I only have a few pics I screenshot on here.
Few posts with guys building them.
Will see if I can find it again.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Adie66 yeh I’m the same don’t have Facebook I just use the wife’s when I need to lol. I don’t know anyone for body kits but when I was mooching on the internet for body kits for caddy’s then found a random site that makes them for you.

Yeh you can cut the bumper then rivet it or staple it plastic weld it then fill and sand until perfect obviously there’s certain points to cut both bumpers to make it w perfect fit.

I’m going to start planning a custom rear bumper unlike the r32 one I want something really different as the r32 is very common not going to lie they do look mint but too many about lol

Adie66 there’s tons of mods for these vans haha but I do like the idea of a flat bottom steering wheel When I got the q3 s line for the wife I was hoping it had the flat bottom one but it hasn’t lol

My latest mod for the cab area I’ve got is a3 air vents to make it look a bit tidier I’ll probably do the touran dash conversion at some point

Adie66 if I’m right can fit touran dash from the same year as my van 08 and even older I think.
It looks a lot better of a dash with the square air vents and storage compartment on the top of the dash where as the caddy has just the storage bit not lid

If you search this forum enough you’ll see the ideas are never ending haha. Has you engine guy nor had a look at the noise

Haha ive have bin searching threw getting few ideas

He had look at the video of it thinks its diesel nock but im not convinced it sounds to metallic to be diesel nock i was running it the other day with code reader in checking the injectors and faults
The injector flow was all over the show but thats to be expected without a remap after speaking with the remapping company

Anyway while we had it running my friend noticed exhaust gases coming from behind the engine so i think the exhaust maninfold could be leaking not sure if it can make that kind of noise but its something that will need fixing regardless

Adie66 that’s very strange the problem now is trying to find out where it’s coming from pretty much like a needle in a hay stack fingers crossed you get it sorted and running smooth. You could always try the remap an they may shift the noise
