Novakid I’ve just shortened the caddy one and put a coupler in it with clamps on. Does the same job my pal who’s built a Renault gt5 full track car he’s done it many of times and never had any issues even with big bhp

You need to keep the asz water pipe as it has the extra outlet on it the bls engine has one of the outlets built into the block where as the asz is part of the water pipe

Nice one thanks again.
Has anyone used the crankseal from darkside developments?
Just making sure it's a good part.

Adie66 my old man reckons it could be the valves in the rocker cover called tappits or could be down to the fact it’s so freshly started so got to circulate more.

Azz yeah i spoke to my engine shop where i had the cylinder head redone prior to this video an they said it could be the hydraulic lifters like you said not circulated the oil or got an airlock but ive had it running again today left it running a while and rev it still the same an kicking loads of smoke out
The guy at the engine shop is on holiday till next week so ive got to wait till he gets back so he can have look at the video an go from there ive payed for it to have it all done so i wouldn't have these problems bit disappointing realy as thats all thats stopping me going for a remap
An i go for an operation tomorrow so looks like its gonna have to wait a little longer unfortunately to get it sorted

Adie66 that’s so strange mate hopefully your guy can shed some light on it for you. I’m sure on my old engine I had a slight ticking/knocking sound coming from the rocker cover area I got some engine supercharge by a company called Wynn’s I think that goes in with the oil and it stopped the noise then it blew hence why I changed it lol.
Yeh you don’t want to pay for a remap and then still have the same issues afterwards but it could potentially be the reason for the noise as without a map they do run lumpy.

Ah good luck mate hopefully you have a speedy recovery

Yeah it is strange its hard to diagnose because ive never had this problem an its hard to get somone to diagnose the problem as i dont know anyone who knows these engines really well hoping someone on here who builds these engines can diagnose the problem but i have limited access to the forum makes abit harder

Thanks for that mate ill be back on my feet soon just having some metal work removed from my leg that irritates me not to major ill be back under the bonnet of it by weekend haha

Adie66 I know what you mean mate I’m not 100% mechanically minded I’ve just learnt a lot of the internet the forum and friends lol I still could have problems myself but we’ll soon see haha. Worse case mate I’d try giving a company off the internet a call that specialise in engines someone on here must know something.

No way as if I’m currently awaiting for my operation for the exact same thing but in my hand I’ve got 4 screws and a metal plate after 10 years of being in my hand it’s now causing my hand to clamp up so may need carpal tunnel as well I’m only 28 haha
