Just fitted a tow bar with a single socket, how have others got the loom into the rear?, how do you wire it up? Is it simple on a caddy?

Re: Tow bar wiring
I have routed mine behind the side panel, alongside the wiring of the rearlights. I have used a semi original set ordered at Car Systems. It was a bit to short for the CANBUS wiring, but I still had some CAN wires around in the same colorcode, so it was an easy fix.
Mine uses 5 wires in the fusepanel, 3 for the module plus 1 live and 1 switched that connects on the socket.
It also taps in to the CECM (or BCM on later models) for the feed of the brakelightswitch and the output after the brakelight switch.

Re: Tow bar wiring
Sounds complicated... I have the added issue of mine being a life model, I have plastic panels covering all sides
