Rmadillo Lock - EX BG van

Hi Guys,

Just bought an ex British Gas Caddy. Has an Armadillo lock on the back (the big orange one), i have the keys but i cant seem to get it open. I have read a previous post about pushing the door in a certain position but the thing wont shift.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance - the key says LokLogik on it - I guess I could give them a call?

There is a little line etched into the lock barrel at about 9 o'clock position, insert your key into barrel and turn key towards van till key lines up with notch then simply pull key away from barrel and the lock should open. Mine was seized in the open position and I sprayed wd 40 on the lock a few times and kept opening and shutting lock by pushing the barrel with a bit of stick while door was open and it now opens and shuts perfectly. Its just not been used for a long time. I also found a spare key for my lock taped into the under bonnet fuse box .
