Good information to know, thanks for thatresra22 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 7:01 pm I am doing the same job myself using Audi A6 leather seats, I have tried using the caddy bases but the centres across the audi runners are 20 mm wider than the caddy bases so you cant just drill out, you would need to weld a bit on to drill into. as others have said the audi seats are a lot lower so you would need to fabricate and weld something to make the caddy bases higher. I bought some touran bases and problem solved, the fixing holes match perfectly onto the caddy floor and on the top for the A6 seats, no drilling needed. The touran bases measure 86mm high at the front compared to 42mm for the caddy, so the height issue is sorted as well. So Touran bases saves a lot of hassle, I just need to sort the wiring now.

Re: Touran bases - Simple question
Well using the Touran bases made this job a since.
My last caddy I drilled the existing bases which was a bit fiddly and low.
Touran bases bolted straight in. Had to drill two holes as the Audi A4 S-Libe seats had two pins on each seat (The caddy has one pin)
Took me about 30 minutes.
The seats fit perfectly and just the right height. The extra storage comes in handy to.
Thanks all - Just need to wire in my Air Scarf/lumbar and heated seats now
