Genuine VW lowered kit is only barely lower than standard (~15mm or so). You would hardly notice the difference from standard...
Eibach kit is not genuine VW kit, but it's VW approved kit to use. Quite few people have it fitted and happy with it.

Yes i trimmed the bottom off bump stops. Clearance is fine on the back, had nearly half a tonne of scrap metal in the back and all ok.
Not much clearance on front over speedbumps but coilovers are wound right down

Hahaha,

I remember draggin arse doing scrap runs. I got bout a 1/3 of a ton of copper in the back of my old 330i and it didn’t look dodgy at all.

Craigroco,

What’s your setup like with the HR springs and axle flip? This is probably the setup I’m gona get as I’m not really up for shelling out for the coil overs and rear dampners. How does the rear handle when carrying loads? How low is the front end? Any issues with speed bumps etc?

My friend had his caddy lowered he never looked back he has since had most vehicles lowered some prefer it some dont but i personally think it looks superb!! :D
