Window issue

Just recently brought a caddy, and I have one issue with my passenger side window. I don’t no if the windows run off separate fuses but my drivers side works fine, but the other side doesn’t at all. Neither does electric mirror on that side, witch made me think is it a fuse or something more technical. If anyone could be helpful and possibly point me in the write direction would be appreciated

get it scanned with vcds.

the mirror is plugged into the window regulator so if the window doesnt move and you cant adjust your mirror id start there

no im sure the door control module supplies power to them

check fuse 49 under the steering wheel.

it should be 10 from the left (top row) should be a 10amp

Where is this? Is it something I can easily do myself?

Just looked at my fuse box and it seems a little short of fuses. And the 10th fuse is not there ! Image

Do you think this is why my window and mirror is not working or does it look normal?

check all the fuses in there, which fuse it is can vary on year and model etc.

(looks like you are missing some fuses though)

Mines 64 plate 1.6 bluemotion andIt’s the fuse for my passenger side mirror and wing mirror! Will it effect anything if I pull random ones in and out ?

Both drivers and passengers side door control and window motors use the same two fuses. If it's working on one side it's not a fuse problem.
The door control module takes care of window, mirror and lock operations on that door. Is your central locking working on that door?

Ok just had a quick look and I locked my van using the key and you were wright the passenger door doesn’t lock.

What’s your thoughts on this because on the drivers side my window works but not the passenger side on the main controller? Is this a big job?.

It may be something simple, just a matter of breaking it down in methodical fashion.
First step, if it were mine, would be to test for voltage supply at the A-pillar socket or at the door control module.

Right I’ve managed to get a spare 5 minutes to myself. So I took my door panel off, and checked my main power feed with a voltage reader and there was no power going to the door at all.

My next idea was to have a look in my fuse box, as you can see from my previous post I had a few short in there. Anyway I manage to locate my drivers side fuse, and either side of that was empty, so I just moved it over and BINGO it was the fact there wasn’t one bloody in there.

I just can’t understand why there wasn’t one in there and why the previous owner had left it like this but I’m all sorted and thanks for your help guys

Hi there

Ive got exactly the same problem! (no power to the passenger door) yet mine did work 3 days ago. I'm looking at my fuse diagram in the Haynes manual and online, it looks like its upside down like yours. Which fuse did you pull and check?? Unfortunately, mines stuck in the closed and locked position so I can't even pull the door card off :(
