I have V Maxx😲
How long have you had them for?
Because that doesn’t look good. Maybe you should contact V Maxx and show them that photo it shouldn’t of snapped like that

Hi mate, I run KW fronts and rear shortened Gaz dampers on darkside superlow clamp kit. KW are big money but the STX kit is made by KW and ive used it twice now and the quality is superb for roughly same price as vmaxx.

I bought the van with them on and I do know they’ve been on for 4 years now as I know the lad who had the van.
Going to give them a call tomorrow.
If it was you would you just replace the springs or do the hole lot again ?
Thanks for responding

I would see what V Maxx say first.
Then go from there.

How many miles have been done on the coils? Vmaxx are likely to say it’s down to hitting too many pot holes etc and aged metal.

4 years is nothing for a spring, surely. I could understand the shocker going, seals etc but not a spring. It will be interesting to see what vmaxx have to say.

Springs break all the time, both aftermarket and factory fitted springs. It’s a high stress part which takes some serious abuse, especially on our pothole and speed bump riddled roads these days.
