Touran engine donor for Caddy.

I am aware the 2010 - 2016 Caddy it derived from the same year Touran and subsiquently most parts are interchangeable.

I have a 1.6TDI 105 caddy with the engine on its last legs and have at my disposal a crash damaged low mileage Touran with the 2.0TDI engine.

has anyone ever complete a swap from a 1.6 to 2.0 and would any knowledgeable person know if there is anyy issues doing it from a Touran to caddy

touran to caddy should not cause any issues. doc or someone else might be able to help with how easy/hard the swap would be. so long as the engine loom to body loom is same it should be just swap engine and full loom with ecu over including any pipes that are different too aswell as down pipe but if the wiring looms are different then be bit more of a job or repinning or adding wires
