In essence, if you go with that eBay listing, you are paying £350 for the preparation and spraying of a standard caddy bumper.
Whether it is a good deal depends on several factors:
1. Where you are based and the cost of similar work local to you.
2. The standard of workmanship and whether it meets your desires.
3. Whether you can trust someone to match your paint from a distance.

For me it's only an hour away so means it's an easy Saturday morning trip out. Means I don't have my van off the road for a week in a body place.

How much would it normally cost for a front bumper to be prepped, primed, painted etc?

If I were you I'd price up the cost of the bumper and parts, then get a quote from a local body shop to paint it. Factor in that you can recoupe some cash by selling your original bumper afterwards. I'd rather have somewhere nearby do the paint because they'll be able to match the paint from your actual van rather than guessing the shade. Also, if the colour didnt match perfectly you can easily take it back. I personally wouldn't trust the work of a random seller on eBay.

You won't lose your van for any amount of time if you use a local body shop. You just give them the bumper to paint and collect it when it's done. Fit it yourself in an hour.

Minimum body shop price to prepare/prime & paint front bumper would be £250.. that’s the minimum with a bumper in good condition
I wouldn’t trust anyone to paint match without seeing the van

It does look much better than the bumper on my highline van. Has anyone any source to get a new original bumper other than VW? Can't imagine them being cheap.

Do theses mk4 bumpers fit a facelift caddy?

So based off that minimum price, £350 probably isn't too bad for a quick and easy swap.

I'm gonna see what they come back with

Just a heads up. If you gonna do your bumper like that make sure the bumper grilles are sprayed gloss black and the radiator grille to match.

To be honest, I've messaged the seller several times who never once got back to me and since had a quote for £400 to do all black plastics so suffice to say, I don't be buying this bumper
