RNS 310/15 CD Problem

Does anyone know if you can take the top off the casing to gain access to the CD mech?. I think mine has a foreign body stuck in it but don't want to drag it out of the dash if I cant fix it. The player makes an eject type of sound when the door is opened or closed when the ignition key is removed. It won't take a cd nor does it think there is one inside, the 'curtain' looks a bit ragged as it someone has been poking around. Cheers
