Best suspension set up for daily use

Post by snatch813 » Fri Mar 15, 2019 9:28 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm after some advice on suspension set ups.

What's the best suspension kit for everyday driving in my Caddy?

Kind regards,

Brad

Depending on your budget look into airride, it’s great for speed bumps etc

I like my setup with Bilstein b8 shocks in front and with H&R front springs lowering 45mm.
In the back i have H&R lowering plates at the highest position with Bilstein shocks and powerflex bushing but only in the body mount for the lowering shackles.
To make the H&R frontsprings justice you need to change the original shocks.
I tried the originals almost new ones but the difference is like day and night to the better with Bilsteins.
The Caddy isn't superlow but really nice to drive and handles corner really good.

Depends what your daily use is, if you mainly drive motorways and a roads you can deck them on coils. but if your B road driving most of the time air might be worth considering in my opinion.
