Hi Sean , rns315 has all of them , I’m trying to put a reverse camera to mine , think I need an adapter/ interface for the back.👍

No interface required for the 315 if going the oem route
It’s a direct plug in to the video socket on the back Image
Obviously coding is then required

The interfaces come into play if fitting aftermarket cameras etc

@Ripley55 how much did the head unit set you back if you don't mind me asking? Is it from the Belgium Ebay one? I've been looking them and couldn't make my mind up.

Hi @Robblowen
Yes mate, that’s the guy from ‘Belgium ‘ :D
I ended up paying £219.00p. The guys/girls on the other end of eodaworld, seem very good, and have good comms. I think the price is a bit of a lottery as he has multiple units up for sale, some are buy it now, some are make best offer, and some are straight up auction, so you may get a better deal, I just made an offer.
Speak as you find, this NoName unit, works a treat, and was very very easy to install, just needed my plastic trim tools, and a T20 driver.
It powered straight up, and although no instructions with it, it’s not rocket science to set up the Bluetooth etc :D
As I said it’s perfect for what I wanted. It also supports a rear view camera I believe, might be some Pfaffing around at the back of the unit but I’m not looking to do that at the moment
Cheers
Dave

Thanks for that @boonalon :D I May tap you up for a guide on how to do this at some point in the future , as feeling quite brave, although I’m also
Feeling a bit of a plonker at the moment  shelled out just over £19 for a brodit specific phone bracket mount, and managed to open it and try and fit, before reading the instructions :D and yes it’s for a 2016 on, so had to shell out again for the 04-15   Jeepers those things are dear ? The phone holders are another £24. They are supposed to be the dogs danglies!! It had better be :D

The camera is very straight forward. Yep no trouble ask ask away. did you get the connection for the camera with yours? I bought a cheap camera off eBay, you may need to do a little coding, very simple, do you have factory parking sensors?

@Ripley55
I love my mount. I went for an adjustabble one so it'll fit my phones case. and using their quick disconnect mount as well, so my tom tom mount can still clip on.

Hi @boonalon
Thank you and I will be asking :D
Well in fact I am sort of asking now even :D , yes mate I got the cable, in fact he sent 2 ?? bless
That's the cable with the blue square connector, and with the Yellow socket, like shown in this thread previously ?
Also I'm a 2012 1.6TDi, Factory Grey rear bumper with no parking sensors, and I have a Tow Bar.
So how easy ? ( Coding is easy I can get a friend to do, he's a small an independant VW Garage
Cheers

Hi @bob86
I have fitted my new Brodit mount as well, the proper one this time  and it's rock solid. Obviously with being the earlier 2012 model, mine's on the Steering wheel side.

So I'm looking at holders on Amazon, and it's a mine field ? they're all anywhere between £24-£30 !! We don't have the latest iphones, all the X's and XR's etc,( but may upgrade ?) Actually, my son still has his iphone 5, and I still have my iphone 6.

I guess it's just a trawl to find the right one, just don't want to waste £20 like I did with the mount, but hey, that was my stupidity

I was intrigued though, as we also have a Tom Tom Start 25 in the van ( Note : Also this RCD330 gives me Google Maps via Apple carplay, but navigation voice volume is very low ?)
Is your mount designed to take either phones/Tom Tom ?? I'd be interested in knowing if that was the case, and if there was a fully adjustable holder available ??
Cheers :)

@ripley55
you could have had it where mine is, as mine is also a facelift
https://www.brodit.com/productList.html ... 12&pn=prod

i then have a moveclip, which will accept various things without adapters, like the angled phone mount I have
https://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=215499&pn=prod

if you measure your phone, you can find an adjustable mount to suit
https://www.brodit.com/nSearchList.html ... holder_pas

for my tomtom, I got this, that came with the moveclip, so I didn't need to buy it individually
https://www.brodit.com/product.html?id= ... m&model=GO

and yeah, they aren't cheap, but they are quality
