reversing camera/sensor options

before I buy a camera, thought I'd ask a question or 2, my caddy has an rns 310 or 315 in it, it looks like I can't just buy a simple ebay cam for it and have it interface without anything (yellow plug types)

how can I tell which radio it is?
as I understand it the two look very similar, but they have different connectors on the back (yellow multipin or black multipin)
if i got a cam with the correct connector for either radio would it be plug and play?
is there anything I can do with it to make a yellow single plug type camera work with it?

are there parking sensors that I could fit myself that would work with the radio?

I guess the first step for you is to remove the stereo and establish whether it is compatible with a backup camera. The part number will help you identify which unit you have.

Ok. Pulled it tonight as my GPS recieved arrived so I could change that at the same time, although my sat nav still thinks it's in Germany.. anyway that will be a different thread. Radio appears to be an RNS315
It has a port on the back. Any idea if an OEM camera will be plug and play? With a trip to vcds of course.
