Hi all, my caddy has the aux input jack in the glove box, made a bit of a doozy the other day and trod on the aux cable, snapping the head off in the jack, tried everything to get the head out, even taken the glove box out and the jack out of the housing! All with no result!
Does anyone know anywhere that sells a direct replacement for this aux jack? Or even a VW part number?
Thanks
AUX input jack replacement

Re: AUX input jack replacement
Hi smunter1,
I know the bit you are on about as I have one on mine. Its the aux socket inside the open stowage/glove area with aux in written twice around the outside of it. Yes you can just replace this socket as there is a plug that plugs straight into the back of it so should be a cheap and easy fix. The part number you require is 5M0035724. Just google it and check for yourself that its the part you are on about.
