Having an intermittent problem with the ignition on my 11 plate 2l maxi. When I turn the key the coil light doesn't show on the dash, and obv the motor won't start. Usually just need to un-turn key and try again, but this morning it took 6 or 7 goes to get it to work.
Not happened when engine warm. Starts perfectly otherwise. Other dash lights turn on as normal as far as I can tell.
Any ideas?

Re: Ignition issue
This could be a few things, ignition switch on the back of the barrel, ignition relay, engine relay.
A VCDS autoscan will probably point you straight to it.
