T6 wing repeaters

Post by Barbel330 » Sat May 11, 2019 12:40 pm

Can anyone confirm whether Transporter T6 wing indicators are the same as Caddy mk4 ones? I want a pair of the newer looking type for my facelift mk3 but the only smoked ones I can find are for a T6.

Cheers

I’m 99% sure the T6 are identical to mine guys
A lot even advertising for both vehicles

Found some sequential ones Image

Yeah I bought the vanstyle T6 ones and they wouldn’t fit unless I trimmed it. The sequential ones kept throwing up a error code. Tried a few resistors and kept throwing up a code. The T6 ones I bought were about a 1cm longer and 0.5cm taller. I know it’s not much but looked a little odd. Maybe coz I’m use to the size.

I recently brought some carbon fibre indicator covers for a t6 hoping to fit them to my caddy when they came they were the same shape very similar but slightly bigger so I sent them back the Carbon wasn’t as good as good as it looked in the pics any way, I’ve also seen the smoked ones not sure if the whole unit would fit if changed

Vanstyle say the same. But I couldn’t get them to work. Even with different resistors. Also they looks a bit stupid to me as they were bigger just didn’t look good on the eye.

As a suggestion, would spray tint do the job on a standard MK4 repeater? I painted the outer plastic black but didn't go as far as tinting which shouldn't be too much of a bind tbh.
