I’ve just bought some seat Leon fr callipers for my van. I have the sdi 2007 and it has a weird set up and won’t carry the seat caliper. Is there any carriers I can get to make it fit?
Also what size discs will I need? The callipers a lot bigger than standard one so guessing I need bigger discs?
Thanks
Caddy sdi caliper upgrade.

Have a poke about in the brakes and suspension topic mate, you may find someone who’s fitted the same parts as you previously

SDI front hubs normally take a 50 mm strut and the front brake pad carrier is part of the hub, you will need to change your front hubs to caddy TDI or Touran type you will also need front struts that will fit the 55mm hub.

Thanks, so is it simply just buy the hubs and it’ll just replace the existing hub? Or is there more parts needed from a tdi? I have bought coil overs that fit both 55 and 50mm as it has a adapter.

Yeah it should be that simple, I have never seen the seat calipers so not sure what sort of mounting they are but if you have the tdi hubs you can mock it all up off the van before fitting

Sweet, it’s not different size splines on the drive shafts or anything is it? Do you know where I’d get a hub from? Or is eBay the best bet

Re: Caddy sdi caliper upgrade.
I got touran ones off ebay, I don't remember any difference in the spline size but I did a 6 speed conversation at the same time. Check to see if there is a difference in part numbers on gsf website between Tdi and Sdi wheel bearings.

Sweet had a look at the bearings and both have the same part number so will go find some hubs! Thanks for all the info mate!
