Caddy Mk5 - Spyshots

I could not find any earlier posts regarding these spy-shots using a quick search on this forum.
So I thought some of you might be interested to see that some heavily camouflaged Spy-shots of the next SWB Caddy model (eta 2020+) can now be seen on the Parkers website at the following URL

As for the accompanying article, it seems quite speculative going well beyond stuff which can be seen on the photos.
However I am not surprised by the suggestion that the new Caddy will adopt the MQB chassis, or the suggestion that it would have a more car like suspension as especially for the Life models the idea of getting rid of those leaf springs will finally move the ride quality for the people carrier versions towards that available on Sharan and Golf models . For people who enjoy customising their Caddy's, I suspect moving to a shared platform may increase the range of affordable modification options available.
