The rail cover is a OEM dealer part dude, its comes as 3 pieces - the cover - and new rail itself - and a mounting clip. To be honest i only ordered the cover and bonded it which is 100% and not going anywhere, only cost £27 squid.

Someone will post up the part number no doubt

Do you have a picture of yours bonded on? Did u just put the bonder on the rail and press the flush panel on? are there not gaps at either end

use a clip at the rear of the rail then about three blobs of bonder along the rail and you can bond the inside like the photo.

I've got the new rail and cover, but didnt get a mounting bracket. Does anyone know the part number for the mounting bracket?
I ordered the parts from VW using part numbers I found on here. Didn't get the mounting bracket tho! :(

The mounting bracket is custom made by Matt@Reflex, hence the reason most people buy the lot off him. VW/TPS don't contribute to the forum where as Matt has been a huge asset. Buying from Matt, in a round about way, helps the forum.

Don't despair if you get the rail and cover off VW

Matt will supply you with just the bracket and rear clip if needed
