What spec Caddy would a budget of £3-4k realistically get me?!
Am a plumber and would be using it as a van but would like to add new set of wheels and lower it a little. Need a change from my Astravan!!!

You'd get an 04/05 TDi for around 4k if you shop around, Colms 04 one is 4,500 euro (in the for sale section) which would be within your budget only thing is she in Ireland (not much of a problem getting her across the water though) has had a bit of work done too, engine work, gearbox, clutch, pump, alloys, touran bumper, CC, etc.. Might be an option?Bluecarisma wrote:What spec Caddy would a budget of £3-4k realistically get me?!

£3-4k budget.
I'm a plumber and did the same upgrade.. ;-)
About 4 months ago I text my reg to that car check, the one that values it, and it came back saying my 55plate sdi was worth 3and a half with 80odd k on the clock, which narked me off cos I payed 4 and a half 6 months earlier..

Thanks for the replies guys. Ive decided to give it a month or so before looking seriously. Works gone a bit quiet so buying a new van has dropped on my list of priorities
