Towbar

Postby CADDY.D » Sat Dec 13, 2008 7:58 pm

Dont know if any of you guys have the need for a towbar. As you can see this is a brink swanneck one.Its quite easily fitted.Only problem is it has started to sag a little and there is now quite a noticeable gap between the doors and bumper.
I think this is due to the bumper protection plate being removed, which would have stopped it from sagging.
My advice....don't buy this towbar!
I have seen a few vans with the same towbar with the same problem.

I remember reading on the CLubTouran forum a while back that there was a modification to the towbar kit where they now supply a type of angle section to support the bumper, might be worth Making something suitable to sort it out.
