Re: What did you do to your van today?
Just so I could get away from the poxy blanket tv coverage of some wedding of people I don’t know, I fitted my W8 interior light as soon as Tommyzooms adaptor loom hit the door mat this morning. A nice simple 10 minute job and all works perfectly. Also fitted led bulbs.

I'm interested to know what mirror that is, looks like the autodimming version?

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Yes it's auto dimming, completely wasted as my bulkhead and rear door glass is blocked off so I just use it for applying make up, doing my hair etc Came on the van as a factory option so not something I've fitted myself.
I never removed the A-pillar trim to do this, I just pushed the wire behind it where the door rubber fits.

Sanded a new set of bumpers today.
Some bloke thought is was nesesary to watch p#rn on his mobile at 07:00 am and hit 4 cars waiting at the traffic lights..
i was nmbr 3, results:
had to buy it back from insurance as it was a economic write off, i did'nt want to let the Caddy go as 140bhp car's are hard to find.
So i get the remaining amount and the car, enough for repairs..
Replace 2 bumpers.grille, a set of barn doors and a part of the rear floor.

Cheers for that. Been looking at alloys. Specifically 17 but unsure of size and they look great. Same caddy but metallic grey

Also replaced air filter , was very surprised how corroded the screws were , fortunately was able to get replacements from a mk5 golf and a passet ,that are being broken nearby... should i get anything more from these vehicles...? ,
whilst at it removed the steel water pipe that crosses the front of the engine , derusted it , paint and refit , and a general clean of engine bay , looking much better now
