I had the back of my van restyled by a tw@ in a discovery. Luckily it’s only the tailgate and a few scratches on the bumper. Still angry at the tossers (it’s only a van) response

Sorted sliding door issue where it wouldn’t open properly. A clean with a toothbrush and some grease and all sorted

Sound deadened the front and rear roof sections with Silent Coat, then insulated with Dodo mat.

I think 2mm is ample. It's only to stop the panels drumming and 2mm seems to do a fine job.
