Installed this bad ass air freshener. Colour theme in check. Despite looking good it smells like domestos... short journey to work and it was quickly removed. I could taste it all day. No shit!

Was it supposed to be new car smell by any chance. I've had 2 different new car smell air fresheners and they lasted 5 mins before being binned. Currently got bubblegum smelling one which isn't to bad.

Buoyed by the statement that "you should be able to fit an armrest in about an hour" I set about fitting mine today.
Undoubtedly, the longest hour of my life.
Probably took me about three hours but well worth the effort.
Remap Thursday, can't wait.

Done a few planned jobs and a not so planned one over the weekend. Fitted some new heater knobs and a new passenger side mirror glass as the old one was just “stick on top of the broken one job” by old owner. Then serviced the van as it was about a 1000 miles to go. And painted up th brake calipers as they were looking tatty from the job the last owner did.

The unplanned job was to fit a new drivers mirror unit as I managed to snap it off by leaving the jack handle upright and under it then using the other jack to lift the other side. Trip to the scrapyard and £24 later, replacement fitted.

On the plus site, found a few leather non MFSW on passats and polos that I might go back for once I research if they fit.

Finished the bed. Few little bits and bobs to do before heading off to Scotland but the majority is there

Did you fit the 12volt charging point into the central console or was it already there?

I took it off the rear panel from the armrest as it would of never been used, then spliced into the astray one to wire it up. I tend to leave my phone on charge in the van sometimes so felt this was abit safer than leaving it on the seat lol
