If you have A/C, you should have fitted a grey filter with "activated charcoal coating".

Cool, no problems there then.
I've just heard people comment on how "dirty" their filter was shortly after having a new one fitted, only to find out it was the grey charcoal finish being confused for dirt.

Need to order sound deadening for mine, will 40 sheets of 2mm silent coat be enough, will that quieten it down enough?

Plastic insulation from b and q and 8m of megavan mats for carpet to do the sides, arches, roof and back door panels?!

Thanks

Good luck with the sound deadening mate, can't help you with your questions as I've not done mine yet. But I'd be interested to hear how you get on and see some pics as its one of my next jobs.

So, today and yeasterday I installed; sound proofing, insulation in places and carpet. It's scary before you get going but I just jumped in both feet and I'm really pleased with the final result
It previously looked as below

Did some coding on mine today, disabled the cornering lights as i hate them, set the alarm to chirp on locking and tried to enable the digital speedo in the MFD but no joy its locked out in the 2017 I think.

Been travelling around the last few days picking up various parts for my £500 money pit (why didn't I buy a better one )
Swapped one seat over and found both lower seat mounts are rusty
Cleaned a few trim panels and the headlining with some amazing stuff called G101

I think it may need injectors though Image
Going to service it and replace the gearbox mounts tomorrow, see if it stops the rough idle, hasn't had a fuel filter for years
