Some of the jobs carried out in the last few days. Luckily the weather wasn't to bad today for wheel changing.

Steel wheels sprayed satin black and put on for winter.

Although I like the black look I wasn't a 100% happy with the finish on the wheels with the satin black. Rattle cans and spraying in a cold garage probably didn't help. So I've popped on some hub caps for this year until I can either get the wheels sprayed properly or source some other alloys.

Osram Night Breaker Unlimited lamps fitted. They do have a whiter light compared to the set that came out (also Osram) with a slight blue tinge on the reflector. Still got to take it out for a night drive to test them.

Smoked 3rd brake light fitted. Looks good against the natural grey paint. Just got to do the other lights.

Tomorrow the Caddy will get a wash and hoover out. Going to try out some water repellant stuff for the windscreen.

I bought my van today, that’s a good start 👍🏻 Can’t do anything to a van you don’t have.. oh I put some air in the tyre that was looking a bit soft.

Fitted Audi A3 S-line seats, replaced top rear brake light unit, fitted a new battery, added H1 & H7 Osram Nightbreakers.

Removed bonnet bra as I wasn’t keen on it.

None of my interior lights work so that’s today’s job, along with a good tidy and interior clean.

Got a few things to buy as I plan a number of changes.

Is this thinner than the standard vw bulkhead?

Klein. If I was to guess I would say it’s the same. But mine is carpeted on the front and I had to carpet the back so technically it will be thicker. But you hear hardly anything from the back.

I just dropped them onto the Caddy bases as the Touran bases arrived today and I didn’t want to drill or mod anything.

Done some improvements in the rear. Vinyl floor and some matching in the front.
Couple more bits to do when I have time weekend. I wouldn’t mind doing the rear tailgate the same vinyl and also the lid of the side compartments
The whole floor is done but have to have my box of tricks for work.
