just been and dropped of the touran wire loom

would have been much easyer if i bought a touran and welded two doors closed and painted the windows

oh and cheaper too :lol:

That may be true but is easier to say you own a caddy or a touran with the doors welded up and windows painted :lol:

Broke the passenger side mirror, it's heated by the way, any one got one please?

Also looking for a front bumper with headlight washer holes...either Touran or something different that works and will look good, as mine is the standard grey one and is looking a bit the worse for wear.

Drove to site, parked it for 8 hours, drove home, 7 days a week that happens

maybe half day sunday

Gave her a good wash today got feed up with seeing my fingers every time I shut the doors

Also fitted mk4 interior light with map lights
Didn't like the tinted lens and the caddy lens is a real good fit and gives out more light

fitted an after market electric window kit, took 2 of us 7 hours! load of hassle had to fabricate and change a few bits, never again!
looks good now its done though and i like the buttons on the centre console. :?

Why not go the OEM route, It would take 1 of you 3 hours max

i couldnt find any vw motors and window switches cheap enough and dont know anyone to code them in, got fed up of hand winding windows so bought a cheap after market kit!
