So today I've changed my wishbones, clearly a job that needed doing as the rear bushes in both sides had disintegrated. I decided to give this a go myself after a local garage quoted £250 just to change the bushes. A quick scour of eBay netted me a pair of wishbones for £65, plus a couple of hours under the van has saved me some cash. The vans so much nicer to drive and the brake judder has completely gone.ImageImageImage

tweaked my lower chrome grill section, deep yellow gloss wrapped and then the top half overlayed with strips of 3M ultra reflective honeycomb. See me miles away :D

Nearly fell over my van today when my local garage wanted £700 to change my clutch. I found another local place that’ll do it for £470.

Just had my cam belt, tensioner and water pump done.
Independent garage did it with my 36000 mile service.
The van is five years old and according to VW needs to be done.
They were all in perfect condition, with the water pump bearings as smooth as silk and no leaks.

Why do I feel like there's no need for this to be done on age, rather than mileage?!!

Also fitted a van-x glove box lid and tinted third brake light lens :)

@Bradley. I was told by the first garage that it already had a solid flywheel. That surprised me to be honest.
