Was thinking of doing this for my 10j,s as they are ET45,
How did you finish off the inside after ya modded the side door?
Was thinking of just carpeting the whole door right past the rubber seals
My dad has carpeted his T5 the same way and it doesn't have any problems, but interested in seeing your if ya got another pic?

Does the side door clear these banded wheels? If it does I'd also like to know the width, ET and tyre size.

Each to their own but I really dislike flat fronted or bulging out alloys, this deep disk look is much better.

There’s a few sets of caddy banded steels in ebay mate. I was looking at them the other day. They don’t give any indication of the ET though. Some are a 1 inch band and some 2 inch.

Ripper 182, love them Bola B12's and nicely filled arches. Did want a set myself in matt black, but as I'm staying at standard ride height they would look silly in the arches.
