Is there a definitive guide to painting bumpers? I've done it a few times in the past but it always fades after about a year.

It is. But with the corner ribs removed - a few people on here have done it, requires a bit of plastic welding/filling.

I have been thinking of doing this to mine too. Went to a local paint shop and they said that it can be quite difficult to do due to there being wax in the molded bumpers which will lead to the paint eventually flaking. How have these bumpers been prepped for the paint please?
